Gardaí in Belturbet arrested a male in his late teens on suspicion of burglary at a home in the town. The incident occurred on Wednesday of this week, February 27th. The teenager was detained for questioning and subsequently charged with theft related offences.
He appeared at Monaghan District Court yesterday morning. A follow up search was conducted under warrant at a property in Wicklow and a large amount of the property taken was recovered. Investigations are continuing.
