A teen was arrested near Castleblayney after a police car was rammed by a stolen camper van in south Armagh.
Police helicopters and the dog unit were used as part of the high-speed chase yesterday evening.
Police received reports of a burglary at a house in Tandragee just before 5.30pm yesterday, where the property was ransacked with jewellery and cash taken.
A camper van parked outside the house was taken and the occupants failed to stop for police when it was spotted shortly afterwards in Armagh.
The camper was spotted again in Keady where it rammed a police car.
The PSNI says their car was significantly damaged, and the two officers in it received minor injuries.
Tactical Support officers and the Dog Unit chased the two male suspects into a wooded area after they abandoned the camper in a laneway.
An Garda Siochana were notified after the pair crossed the border, and a Garda spokesperson confirmed to Northern Sound News that at around that time, a 16 year old was arrested north of Castleblayney in the townland of Tullintrot for a public order offence.
He was brought to Castleblayney Garda Station and has since been released pending referral to the Youth Diversion Programme.
