Independent TD Noel Grealish, former Fianna Fáil Senator Donie Cassidy, and two hoteliers are due in court today in connection with an alleged breach of Covid-19 regulations.
They received summonses after the DPP decided to bring charges arising from an investigation into an Oireachtas Golf Society dinner last August.
The controversial gathering took place in the Station House Hotel in Clifden, Co Galway.
John Sweeney, the hotel's owner, and his son James Sweeney, are listed to appear alongside the politicians at Clifden District Court in Co Galway this morning.
