Tara Mines management plan early 2024 for reopening

Tara Mines management intend to reveal a rescue plan in January. Discussions will then be held with unions.

If agreement is reached, Boliden hopes Tara Mines could reopen in the second quarter of 2024.

Enterprise Minister Simon Coveney has welcomed the move and says the Government is committed to provide all possible assistance to reopen the mines.
