The Taoiseach has been urged to provide clarity to local schools that don't currently have the space to allow for social distancing.
Cavan TD Niamh Smyth says many schools like Bailieborough Community School are already over capacity with over 600 students enrolled.
She said the school is already short of space and will need portacabins in order to accommodate all students with social distancing.
She asked Taoiseach Micheál Martin today if the back to school plan announced by the Government this week has any allowance for schools that need to increase space.
