Taoiseach to meet new UK Prime Minister later this month

The Taoiseach says the new Labour government in Britain offers a real opportunity to reset bilateral relations.

Simon Harris and Keir Starmer spoke on the phone following the Labour Leader's landslide victory in the general election. The two will meet on the 17th July in Downing Street.

Simon Harris said he would be working tirelessly to ensure relations between the two countries was put back on a solid footing.
