The Taoiseach has said he will raise the Belturbet bombing with authorities in Northern Ireland and in Britain.
Geraldine O'Reilly and Patrick Stanley were killed in the explosion after Christmas in 1972.
The investigation by Gardaí is continuing but little progress has been made in recent decades and no one has been convicted of the bombing.
In the Dáil yesterday local TDs Brendan Smith and Niamh Smyth called on the Taoiseach to raise the bombing with authorities in the North and in Britain after allegations of collusion between the perpetrators and British forces.
