The Tánaiste has been called on to bring clarity to the GP contract controversy.
Local TD Matt Carthy questioned Leo Varadkar on the events in the Dáil today claiming he's given different versions.
The controversy stems from the then Taoiseach Leo Varadkar sending the draft agreement between the HSE and the Irish Medical Organisation to the head of a rival GP group.
He apologised in the Dáil in November but has since faced calls for further clarity after emails were released to Sinn Féin under the freedom of information act.
They show Varadkar sent the contract to Dr Maitiú Ó Tuathail at a time when the Minister for Health hadn't been given access to the document.

But the Tánaiste Leo Varadkar said there wouldn't be any copy of a written request for the contract:
