The Taiwanese community has donated high quality PPE, including infrared thermometers, to several nursing homes in Cavan.
The initiative began in March, when the Taiwanese community realised that nursing homes may struggle to access PPE in the midst of the covid-19 crisis.
The Taipei Representative office in Ireland and the Taiwan Ireland Association has since delivered PPE to nursing homes throughout the country, including Oak View Nursing Home, College View Nursing Home, and Castlemanor Nursing Home in Cavan.
