The forecaster says it brilliant news for those attending the ploughing in Laois or working outdoors. Speaking to Northern Sound earlier today, Cathal says it certainly a year to leave the raincoats, ponchos and wellies behind and to bring sun cream instead.
From Tuesday you can expect a warm and mostly sunny day with highest temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees with light and variable winds and this will be similar throughout the week.
