Extremely high temperatures are expected across the country for tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday.
A status yellow high temperatures warning has been issued by Met Eireann for the entire country from 6am tomorrow.
It could reach 32 degrees on Monday in counties like Roscommon, Longford and Westmeath while counties like Cavan and Monaghan will be around the 30 degree mark.
Forecaster with Met Eireann, Deirde Lowe explains what the next few day will look like across the region.
"Its going to be a really hot spell with temperatures hitting the mid to late 20s tomorrow, then we see temperatures going higher on Monday with some places seeing possible temperatures of 32 degrees. It will begin to change on Tuesday with some showers forecasted and temperatures will drop back to around the 20 degree mark as we approach mid-week."
"Sunday will be a lovely day with widespread hazy sunny spells, it will be dry countrywide with top temperatures tomorrow at around 28 degrees."
