The 'HUGG' suicide support group has announced a new support group for County Monaghan.
HUGG is a unique national suicide bereavement charity, rooted in the core value of empathy through lived experience.
The charity also provides free, non-judgmental, safe and confidential spaces where people bereaved by suicide can share their experiences and feelings, and receive and offer support to each other through their support groups.
Monaghan locals Eoin Kelly and Linda Steele Fannin will be leading the new HUGG group in the Monaghan region this month.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Eoin Kelly who lost his brother Lorcan to suicide in 2012 said he understands that coming to terms with the loss of a loved one through suicide, whether that be a family member, friend or colleague, is a daily struggle and you can feel isolated and alone.
