A suicide awareness event is taking place tonight in County Monaghan.
Over the past two weeks Drumhowan GAA have hosted suicide awareness and prevention training and tonight they host the event at 8pm in Drumhowan Community Centre.
The night will hear from three people discussing suicide, depression and addiction.
Noel Duffy health and wellbeing officer with Drumhowan GAA Club says Gaa Clubs are a part of every community and hearing people's personal stories is important and how they came back on the right road again.
The event will hear from Barry Aughey the Co.founder of the charity LA519, Domhnall Nugent an Antrim Hurler, and Chris Kerr GPA Welfare Officer and Antrim Goalkeeper.
