It was a successful weekend for a number of Cavan and Monaghan groups at the recent LAMA Awards.
The annual event took place on Saturday night at the Crown Plaza in Dublin.
Big winners included, the Cavan civil defence team who won gold for 'Emergency Response Team of the Year', while Cavan Calling, won silver for 'Best Connected Council'.
The Cavan County Library Service also took part in celebrations after winning bronze for 'Best Community Based Initiative', in relation to its Covid-19 book delivery service.
Meanwhile, the Carrickmacross Workhouse took home Silver for its 'Interpretation & Education Project' in the 'Best Heritage' category, while The Peace Link won Bronze in the 'Best Community Sports Team/Club' category.
The LAMA Community and Council Awards highlight the work of communities and councils right across the country, bringing national recognition to local projects and developments.
