There were a number of local winners at this year's Tidy Towns Award ceremony.
Glaslough Village has been named the tidiest area in the region.
The County Monaghan village took the top award in the Northwest and West category.
Glaslough also took home the inaugural Young Persons in TidyTowns Award, and the county award.
It, along with Carrickmacross, also took home Gold Medals for Monaghan.
Carrickmacross won the Most Innovative Project Award.
Cavan town took the County Award, with Redhills and Loch Gowna commended.
Mullagh Sports Partnership won the regional Waters and Communities Award.
Smithborough in Monaghan and Mount Nugent in Cavan were awarded the Endeavour Award for their respective counties.
In Monaghan Glaslough tidy towns say despite losing the national title they are thrilled with the results.
Their youth branch scooped the Young Persons in Tidy Towns Award, which was a new award introduced this year.
