Proposed works to Con Smith Park in Co.Cavan have progressed to part 8 stage.
Cavan County Council are proposing to construct additional hard and soft landscaped public open spaces, reconfigure existing public footpaths, and install an external half-size basketball court.
Also included is a coffee and public toilet facility kiosk with outdoor seating, bike parking, public lighting, and the re-location of the existing
band stand.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at the Planning Office, Farnham Street, Cavan Town or the Cavan-Belturbet Municipal District Office in Ballyconnell until the 20th of September.
Submissions can be made during this period, after which a decision will be made by council members on whether it should proceed.
