As the new college term time approaches, Cavan Institute are hosting an open night aimed at school leavers, their parents and also mature students or anyone considering a career change. Following on the back of Leaving Cert results, which came out last week and on the day before CAO make first round offers tomorrow, the Cavan Institute Open Night is happening tonight from 7pm at the Cathedral Road building in Cavan.
With over 70 courses on their prospectus, Cavan Institute can offer anyone considering their options something that appeals to their interests and can lead to further pathways of study and career. Louise Clarke, Deputy Director, at Cavan Institute explained how all courses at higher education facilities like Cavan cost €200. Ms Clarke also said the open night is an ideal way for leaving cert students and their parents and also mature learners to explore what academic and student life at the Institute is like.
Tutors will be available to talk to attendees in person and answer any questions people may have. Louise Clarke, explained what all goes on at the college: "We offer courses in the areas of business, accountancy, law, social care, tourism, education, security studies, childcare; courses in the built environment and engineering; green energy, motor vehicle, science, veterinary, beauty therapy, creative media, computing, art, crafts and design music and sound, hotel and catering, performing arts ... the list really goes on."
