A number of schools across Cavan and Monaghan will take part in the Dublin City Final of Junk Kouture designs.
The event will be held at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on May 5th and will include talented young designers from post-primary schools in Monaghan town and Bailieborough.
It's back to business as usual for Junk Kouture with the return of a live final in Dublin City since the outbreak of Covid-19.
Finalists from across the country, including students from Beech Hill College, Our Lady's Convent in Monaghan, Monaghan Collegiate, Bailieborough Community School and Castleblayney College, will take to the stage with designs made from 100% recycled materials as they make their bid to be chosen for the first ever Junk Kouture World Final later in the year.
The Top 10 designs from the Dublin City Final, will be selected by judges Louis Walsh, Roz Purcell, Stephen McLaughlin and singer/song-writer Soulé, who will be on the hunt for designs that have pushed the boundaries when it comes to materials and those all-important finishing touches.
Tickets go on sale for the Dublin City Final at 9am tomorrow morning via Ticketmaster and from the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre Box Office.
