This year’s 2024 Rose of Tralee Rose International Festival gets underway tonight.

Three local women are featuring in this year’s 2024 Rose of Tralee Rose International Festival. The live finals begin on RTÉ One tonight and with the Rose of Tralee being crowned tomorrow night. 19 year old Grace Farrelly is representing Cavan and will take to the stage in the Dome tomorrow night. The English and Sociology student isn’t the only Cavan woman in the line up as New York’s Rose Billie Cooper hails from Killeshandra and lived there for a number of years before emigrating.

Billie also takes to the stage tomorrow night, the Cavan Rose is first up tomorrow night in the running order with the New York Rose appearing 9th on our tv sets tomorrow evening. Firstly our attentions turn to tonight’s programme and Monaghan’s Rose Anne Marie McArdle will be representing the Farney county, she will be the 10th rose to make her appearance on the live show tonight. Over the two nights, the International Roses will take to the stage in a bid to impress the judges with one rose being crowned the 64th Rose of Tralee.
