It is still unclear what caused the wind and gorse fire in Maghera yesterday.
Fire crews from Virginia and Ballyjamesduff, were assisted by local farmers, and the Civil Defence drone team to bring the fire in Co Cavan under control.
The fire began on Bruise Hill in the area and was mostly brought under control by midnight.

Fire crew members have remained at the scene over night to ensure that it does not restart.
An area of ground and vegetation has been damaged, however, no property was effected by the blaze.
