We're being warned to stay alert for fire in forests or on open ground this week.
The Department of Agriculture has issued a status orange forest fire warning, which will remain in place until 6 o'clock on Saturday evening.
The warm, dry and windy conditions of late mean dead grasses and shrubs are highly-flammable at the moment.

Pat Neville from Coillte says, if you notice a fire, call the emergency services immediately.
