Management and staff of retail stores and businesses across the region say they're 'delighted' to be back.
Phase two of the easing of Covid-19 restrictions has come into effect from today, and sees many non-essential shops re-opening nationwide.
Grousehall Furniture in Loughduff in Cavan opened their doors at 10 today, with owner Enda Mulhaul saying it was the uncertainty over the last number of months that was the worst, as they tried to maintain trade online.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound Enda said there had been a lot of calls indicating a brisk trade in the coming days.
He says that while appointments are encouraged they are not mandatory for shopping with them. However, they can only facilitate 3 groups in the shop at one time.
