St Joseph's NS in Carrickmacross were crowned champions in this year's Minecraft Education Challenge at Microsoft Dream Space in W5 LIFE. Over 100 schools across the country entered the Minecraft Education Habitat for HuMOONity challenge. Pupils were tasked with building a world in Minecraft Education that explored the possibility of building a habitat on the moon.
The top eight teams were invited to Microsoft Dream Space in W5 LIFE to replicate their builds and pitch it to a panel of judges. After a thrilling final, it was St Joseph's NS in Carrickmacross that took home the first-place trophy, while St. Joseph's National School, Kinvara came second. Last year's champions, Royal Belfast Academical Institution came in third place.
