Works for a new special education facility in Monaghan are now progressing to tender. St Dympna's National School in Tydavnet has received approval to progress the addition of a special education classroom to the current school.
The works will involve the refurbishment of one of the existing classrooms on site. Speaking to Northern Sound, Monaghan senator Robbie Gallagher welcomed the news and paid tribute to the work of the staff and parents of the school.
