Speeding offences detected in Co Cavan

Drivers in Cavan were detected driving at speeds including 137 and 127 km p/hr yesterday. The detections were part of Cavan Roads Policing Unit's continued bank holiday weekend operation.

Speed checks on the N3 were followed later by roadside checks in conjunction with the RSA. Fixed charge penalty notices were issued for speed and worn tyres on vehicles.
