Gowna GAA Club have applied for planning permission to install a spectator stand, multi-use games area and multi-purpose building. The club's plans also include turnstiles, dug-outs and a biodiversity area.
The spectator stand proposed would include a sheltered exercise and spectator area and the multi-purpose building is to incorporate a kitchen and terraced barbecue area. According to their application, the GAA club wants to have a ball wall and appropriate playing surface in the the multi-use games area proposed.
Gowna lodged their application with Cavan County Council planners earlier this month.
