A very special event is coming at a much-loved church in Co. Monaghan.
As part of Ireland's annual National Heritage Week celebrations, Stedfast Brass Band is to perform at Laragh Church this evening from 8pm to 9:45pm.
The performance is to pay an homage to the remarkable history of the church and the cultural heritage that it represents for the county.
Laragh Church was built in 1890 by a local mill-owner in memory of his son.
It was originally constructed using corrugated steel, an innovative architectural choice for the time.
The church was left unused for fifty years until 2012.
