Today in Cavan a solemn event is planned to mark the third anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
The Association of Ukrainians in the Republic of Ireland - or AURI - has organised the gathering to honour the resilience and courage of the Ukrainian people, remember those who have suffered and sacrificed, and reaffirm our collective commitment to justice and peace.
Ukrainians living in Cavan and beyond plan to meet at Cavan Central Square from noon today.
Everyone is welcome to join the peaceful and respectful expression of unity and remembrance.
AURI says people's "presence at this event would greatly honour us and will be a meaningful gesture of solidarity with Ukrainian people":
