A man's been injured after being shot a sports ground in County Tipperary.
It happened while he was playing a match.
The man was playing in a soccer game under floodlights when he was shot in the arm shortly after 9 o'clock last night.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to the shooting incident in Rear Cross.
He was treated at the scene and brought by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick where his injures are described as non life-threatening.
The scene is sealed off for a forensic and technical examination and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
They're particularly asking people who may have been hunting in the area at the time to come forward.
