The Melbourne-based construction company owned by Cavan's Tony Brady is the new owner of the Slieve Russell Hotel.
The Ballyconnell hotel was put on the market in April on behalf of the liquidators of the Irish Bank Resolution Company.
It was revealed last month the Brady Group had bid below the €35 million asking price.
Northern Sound FM understands Slieve Russell Management informed members of there golf club this evening that the sale has been completed.
Tony Brady emigrated to Australia from Cavan as a bricklayer in 1973 and eventually set up his own company.
Brady, who is in his seventies, is originally from Redhills. His brother, Ollie Brady, was Cavan's first All-Star. A 2017 interview with the developer said the Brady Group had played a "key role in transforming" Melbourne.
The property - once a jewel in the crown of the Quinn family’s hospitality empire first opened in 1990, the hotel has 224 bedrooms and leisure facilities, and is situated on 300 acres of land.
It includes a PGA Championship golf course, a nine-hole par three course and driving range.
