We're set for the hottest day of the year so far. Met Eireann says temperatures could hit 23 degrees in some parts, with dry conditions and sunny spells.
The northern part of the country will be the warmest, while it will be cooler near the south coast.
We're being advised to slap on the sunscreen. Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather says that after a cloudy morning sunny spells will break through later: "Yes, it will be the warmest day of the years so far, temperatures getting up to 22 degrees, possibly even a little bit higher, 23 degrees locally," the weatherman explained, "The sun is quite strong already at this time of the year so you will get burnt so, don't be tempted to not remember the sunscreen because it is important especially at this time when we have good sunny spells."
