A fundraising walk of Sliabh Beagh is taking place this morning in memory of Briege Brady and in aid of Crocus Monaghan.
Briege died in March of this year from cancer and supported many cancer charities during her life.
The guided walk is hosted by Monaghan Integrated Development, and Briege spent 21 years with MID working as a mediator with the Local Employment Service.

The money raised will go towards Crocus, which is a peer support group for those living with cancer.
The walk takes place from 11am this morning and donations can be made via the "Guided Walk of Sliabh Beagh" go fund me page.
