A site has been acquired for the new Gaelscoil Lorgan in Castleblayney.
Minister for Education Norma Foley confirmed yesterday that a four acre site had secured to accommodate the school on the Shercock Road.
The new school will include 8 classrooms, 2 special education classrooms and a general purpose room as well as other ancillary facilities.
This news has been welcomed by Minister Heather Humphreys and TD Brendan Smith who both hope that the design process will progress as soon as possible.
