Sinn Féin held an emergency meeting with locals in Navan last night, to discuss the closure of their hospital's A&E.
The HSE is set to downgrade the emergency department at Our Lady's Hospital to a medical assessment, and local injury unit.
Sinn Féin will challenge this decision in the Dail this evening, arguing that it will put extra pressure on neighbouring hospitals.
