Silverhill Foods have been given the green light for upgrade works to its Emyvale facility. The plans that were approved this week by Monaghan County Council will the development consisting of permission to demolish a single storey prefabricated structure incorporating a farm shop, a disused poultry house and meal bins.
Also a part of the approved planning permission is the retention permission to retain two polytunnels and the storage building of a nursery. County planners also gave the permission for a new single storey farm shop, a carpark layout, a bicycle stand, a EV charging port and create connections to existing site services along with all ancillary and associated facilitating works.
The application relates to a development which comprises of an activity that holds and IED license from the EPA. Significant further information was received with this application along with a road safety audit. Monaghan County Council gave the go-ahead with five conditions attached.
