Silver Hill Duck has been named among the top food and drink producers globally this year through the Great Taste 2023 accreditation scheme. Its Confit Duck Legs scooped a 3-star award and is now in the running to win a Great Taste Golden Fork - the highest accolades in the food and drink world.
This comes on the back of the Monaghan based duck producer winning 14 Gold Stars across nine products in their award winning duck range earlier this month. Barry Cullen, Head of Sales for Silver Hill Duck said the company was "absolutely delighted" to win three Gold stars in the Great Taste awards for its Silver Hill Duck Confit.
He added that staff have always endeavoured to produce only the best quality Duck products for customers and the awards are a recognition of their efforts. "We have been producing our duck now for over 60 years and are always pleased to win any award.
"The Great Taste awards hold a special place in our hearts as this is the competition where we benchmark ourselves against the very best products available around the world," said Mr Cullen.
