Irish Water says Shercock customers will have a "more reliable water supply" following the completion of water main replacement works.
The works along the Bailieborough Road commenced in August and involved replacing around 350 meters of old and damaged water mains.
Irish Water says the new service connections will improve the quality of the water supply and reduce water outages.

Traffic management was in place at times to facilitate the works, and there were also some short-term shut offs.
Irish Water has thanked residents who were impacted by the works for their co-operation and patience.
