Sinn Féin has called for targeted relief for those worst hit by rising interest rates. Minister Michael McGrath says the increasing cost of living is forefront in his mind as he finalises the budget. "We are five days out from Budget Day and it's undoubtedly the case that there will be a very sharp focus on the cost of living generally next Tuesday," he continued.
"Minister Donohoe and I are working very hard on a range of measures both on the expenditure and taxation side to provide supports to households."
