Shabra Plastics is among the 17 tax defaulters listed by Revenue today.
Almost €20 million in settlements were made between July 1st and September 30th this year, with over €2.6 million of that being to companies in Monaghan.
Shabra Plastics and Packaging, a packaging provider in Castleblayney is included on the latest list after a Revenue Investigation Case for the under-declaration of VAT.
A total bill of €1,788,798 was paid back in full, and included over €1.3 million in tax and almost €400,000 in penalties.
Oil distribution company in Carrickmacross, Princeville Enterprises Limited was given a bill of €819,331 for the non-declaration of excise duty and the under-declaration of VAT from a Revenue Audit.
€443,517 was in tax, with €311,733 in penalties. It has been paid back in full.
By far the biggest tax settlement was 9.2 million euro owed by DMG Energy, from Charleston Road in Ranelagh in Dublin 6.
This relates to non-declaration of excise duty and under-declaration of VAT.
However, this company is now in liquidation and the full amount of the tax settlement remains unpaid.
