The Sinn Féin President has apologised for the hurt caused by her attendance at Bobby Storey’s funeral.
Mary Lou McDonald says it was not her intention to cause hurt or upset to families who had to limit attendance at loved ones funerals.
The PSNI is investigating whether public health guidelines were broken after hundreds of mourners including the Sinn Féin leadership lined the streets of Belfast.
Clones Councillor Pat Treanor was among those to attend the funeral.
Mary Lou McDonald has said no member of the party will face any sanction for the incident.
