Bank of Ireland has announced that the majority of its closed branches will reopen on 29 June, in line with Phase 3 of the government’s roadmap for easing covid-19 restrictions.
ATMs at these locations, which had withdrawn lodgement services since late March, will also accept cash and cheque lodgements from this date.
In the Northern Sound region, the Arva and Kingscourt branches in Cavan and the Ballybay, Castleblayney and Clones branches in Monaghan will open on weekdays from 10 am to 1 pm.
Modifications will be made in branches to allow for social distancing and a range of supports have been put in place to prioritise the over 65s, carers and healthcare workers.
