Gardai have confirmed that seven people have been arrested following a 'violent incident' during the Monaghan/Armagh clash at Croke Park on Saturday.
In a statement to Northern Sound News this evening, the force has called on those who can assist the Investigation to make contact with them.
They have appealed for any individual who attended the quarter final game in Croke Park to contact Gardaí at Mountjoy Garda Station at 01 6668600 or contact their local Garda Station.
Gardai say that investigations are continuing into this incident.
Meanwhile, there are calls for the GAA to do all it can to avoid fighting in Croke Park.
It's after video footage emerged of an altercation between Armagh and Monaghan supporters on Hill 16.
The footage has been condemned, with a warning seats could be installed on the iconic stand in the future.
