Seized drugs with an estimated value of close to €300,000 were destined for addresses in counties including Cavan.
On Tuesday, Revenue officers seized the illegal drugs from two properties in Dublin.
The discovery was made as part of routine profiling.
The drugs were contained in parcels, and included 10 kilograms of herbal cannabis, along with thousands of tablets.
They originated from several countries, and were destined for various addresses across the country.
The illegal drugs were discovered with the assistance of detector dogs Sam and Bailey and were concealed in 40 different parcels labelled as items such as 'Easter toys', 'make-up', and 'healthcare products'.
