The security alert on the Cavan-Fermanagh border has come to an end.
The PSNI says the device left in the area has been declared a hoax but rounds of ammunition were found.
This alert began on January 13th after the Continuity IRA claimed it had left a landmine in the Wattlebridge area of Fermanagh.
The PSNI carried out inspections in the area but nothing was found.
The dissident republican group later claimed it had shot at a Police helicopter flying in the area.
However, the PSNI said it had no helicopter in the area at the time and if there was any truth to the claims then it was a civilian helicopter passing through that was fired upon.
Gardaí, working with the PSNI, closed the main Cavan to Clones road last Tuesday, in a bid to locate the claimed explosive device.
It has since reopened.
Local Commander, Chief Superintendent Andy Freeburn says the device left at the bus shelter in the area has been declared a hoax.
They say four rounds of ammunition have been found but he says "it is too early to determine if any weapons were fired".
He's urged anyone with information to come forward.
