Search continues locally for two prisoners on the run

The search is continuing for two prisoners on the run in the North.  59-year-old convicted murder Thomas McCabe failed to return from day release on Wednesday last, while 35-year-old Sean Megaw was due to return from a funeral on Saturday.

Mr McCabe is understood to have connections in Dublin and Newry while Mr Megaw has links to the Greater Belfast area. The PSNI is appealing to anyone with information to get in contact. It is also appealing to the prisoners directly to hand themselves in.
