A local cyclist, Martin Sherry, is taking on a 200 mile charity cycle for LA519 today.
The Scotstown man is raising funds for the organisation that is resource for hope and action in the journey toward mental well-being and suicide prevention.
An I-donate page has been set up, where donations have already surpassed €4000.
Martin noted that picking a route that was local was important.
