Rossmore ranked as most popular forest park for second year in a row

More than 350 thousand people visited the site last year.

Coillte has revealed its most popular forest parks - with Rossmore in County Monaghan topping the list for the second year running.
More than 350 thousand people visited the site last year.

That's followed by Ticknock in south Dublin, which had 244 thousand visitors.
Donadea Forest Park in Kildare, Jenkinstown Wood in Kilkenny, and Killykee in Cavan round off the top five.
Cathaoirleach of Monaghan County Council. Cllr Cathy Bennett says topping the list is testament to the hard work by so many at the local forest.
