"There's a huge community of people who just love Rossmore Park." That's according to Co Monaghan man Paul Bond who plays a major role in the park's development and in bringing the famous giants to the local amenity. Rossmore Park has been voted the most visited forest park in Ireland for the second year in a row.

The top 10 most visited Coillte Parks in the country were announced today with Rossmore Park in Monaghan continuing to be ranked number one with 357,834 visitors in 2023. Elsewhere in the Northern Sound region, Killykeen Forest Park in Co Cavan placed number 5 in the top 10 with 88,674 visitors in 2023. Speaking on today's Joe Finnegan Show, Paul says that "accessibility" to the park is one of many reasons why the local amenity is so popular to visitors.
