Rory O'Connor of Rory's Stories fame will be in Cavan this week to raise awareness around mental health. Rory will join Cllr Brendan Fay and Oisin Kiernan to discuss mental health and resilience in Virginia tomorrow evening the 23rd of February.
The event takes place at the Lakeside Manor Hotel at 8pm and everyone is welcome to attend. Cllr Shane P O'Reilly is one of the organisers of the event which is being run in conjunction with the Feel Good initiative.
He added how important it is to have a conversation around mental health and how Rory can bring a different dynamic to all of that. "I was offered the opportunity to have Rory come to my area and I seized that opportunity.
"The only proviso is that those in attendance must be over 12 years. We will also have a bucket there for donations to the Feel Good project," said Cllr O'Reilly.
