Risk of snow from Monday night onwards locally

A moderate weather warning has been issued for the region from Monday.

Met Éireann has issued the weather advisory for frost and ice and the potential for sleet, snow and hail for some time at the start of the week. The transition to significantly colder conditions will take place from Monday 18th November lasting through much of the week, the meteorological service warns.

The advisory is in place until midnight on Saturday night with further updates expected.
